Junior Web Developer
About the Job
We are a digital agency that creates captivating experiences for world-renowned brands and organisations such as Warner Music, The Carlyle Group, The University of Sheffield and British Glass. We are looking for an experienced Junior Web Developer to join our dev team, working on exciting and challenging projects.
As part of the awesome. dev team, you will be involved in creating web apps, sites and interactive digital experiences for clients across a varied range of industries. The right person will be a web developer at the start of their career, looking to immerse themselves in modern methods of web development and push the boundaries of what they can do.
You’ll be working alongside our team of web developers, designers, copywriters, project managers and other creatives. If you are looking for a position to prove what you can do and grow in a supportive environment, this is the position for you.
Required Skills:
- Experience in creating web apps using React
- Creating responsive websites using HTML, CSS
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desirables:
- PHP, Laravel
- Server administration
- VueJS
- GIT

- Portfolio of self-initiated projects to show off what you can do
- Passion for creating user-focused responsive websites
- Self-motivated and a passion for developing themselves and pushing the boundaries of the work they produce
- Broad interest in digital creativeness
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Contribute to workshops with clients and within the team
- An eye for detail
Job Role:
- Work closely with the digital director and design team to create websites, interactive experiences, and apps
- Maintain internal apps and website
- Contribute to the development of internal procedures and processes
- Client support including bug fixing and maintenance
- You will be based in the Sheffield based office with occasional work from our Barnsley head office when required
